The DB8009-MPX from Deva is a powerful silence detector that fits seamlessly with Deva’s extensive range of broadcast tools. This versatile unit not only provides reliable monitoring of Composite Stereo, Analog and Digital Audio feeds, but also automatically switches to available backup sources in the event of signal loss.

What really sets the DB8009-MPX apart are its MPX inputs and outputs, allowing for accurate MPX monitoring and backup. In addition to the usual MP3 and IP Audio backup options, the DSP-based stereo encoder delivers a stable MPX signal at the output, even when the backup source is analog, digital or IP Audio.

Users can easily configure and monitor the unit via SNMP, the web interface, the front panel LCD screen and soft keys. The option for warning messages via e-mail, SNMP or via analogue outputs during radio silence is also important.

With UPnP for easy local networking, digital volume control of all audio sources and 4 GB of storage capacity for MP3 backup files, the DB8009-MPX provides 24 hours of continuous playback without repeats.
