SOUND4 Big Voice² is designed for live studio requirements. The special graphical user interface displays 2 microphones, status, affects, and usernames. Bus-Mix…

Auto-Mix all microphones to one output and save fader space on consoles! The Bus-Mix feature groups selected channel outputs to one physical output. This acts as an Auto-Mix feature and is always protected against bus overload. SOUND4 BIG VOICE² is limited to 1 Bus-Mix and cannot be shared with other devices.

Share PRESETS…

SOUND4 BIG VOICE² Preset Sharing feature, another SOUND4 invention, offers the ability to automatically share presets with other BIG VOICE² processors via the network. Presets changed in one studio are immediately updated in all other studios. This saves a significant amount of time and ensures your carefully tuned sound remains consistent regardless of which studio is in use.

Two GUI types: STUDIO is intended for sound setup and LIVE is a highly simplified version for On-Air Studio. Set sound from a single screen! Dominate-It

The De-Esser… In SOUND4 BIG VOICE, the De-Esser automatically follows the sibilant frequencies, the user only needs to set the gain attenuation and the Q-factor that defines the correction width. A graph on the left side shows the De-Esser at work in real-time.

The 3-band Noise Gate…

In Broadcast Voice Processing, Noise Gate is a crucial functionality for overall voice optimization. Thanks to HQSound algorithms, the SOUND4 BIG VOICE Noise Gate is extremely reactive when opening and closing Gates. This is a real advantage compared to major solutions on the market that usually “eat” the first syllables… SOUND4 BIG VOICE Noise Gate offers an advanced detection mode: bands can be set as “Master”, “Slave”, or “Alone”. For example, it is possible to isolate low-frequency detection and then prevent a gate from opening when the user taps the table. In this case, the user sets the low frequency in slave mode… In advanced mode, users have access to Thresholds, Target (attenuation when the gate is closed), Hold Time (to keep the Gate open before the Release Time), and finally the Release Time.

Pre-EQ (4-band parametric EQ)…

The parametric EQ before the 3-band process is an excellent solution to “lock” bands in desired frequencies. The SOUND4 BIG VOICE is powered by a 4-band parametric Pre Equalizer. Advanced mode offers access to Frequency, Q-factor, and Gain correction for each band.

The 3-band processor…

The 3-band process is the heart of dynamic processing. The SOUND4 BIG VOICE algorithm guarantees gain in each of the bands to complete sound stabilization. “Coloring” is controlled by the Fidelity parameter: it is possible to have a puristic or colored sound texture. The 3-band process features the revolutionary S.I.S (Sound Impact System) algorithm, which allows preserving the authenticity of the original sound attacks. In advanced mode, users have access to “Smart Gate Threshold” (including gain action freeze), “Ratios” (efficiency ratio of dynamic processing), “Fidelity”, “SIS”, “Drives” (increasing or decreasing gain at band input), “Thresholds”, “Attack Time”, “Release Time”, and “Mix output Gain” (to dose the output level of each band).

Post-EQ (4-band parametric EQ)…

The parametric EQ provides the final “touch” in sound setup. The SOUND4 BIG VOICE is powered by a 4-band parametric equalizer. Advanced mode offers access to Frequency, Q-factor, and Gain correction for each band.
