The latest version of this legendary dynamic XLR microphone makes it easier for podcasters, streamers and musicians to get the perfect voice reproduction from any recording situation.
The SM7dB is a dynamic vocal microphone with a built-in preamplifier that delivers up to +28dB of flat, transparent gain with low noise: ideal for virtually any interface and for simplified audio chains.

- Switchable pre-amplification of +18dB or +28dB extra gain
- Flat, long-range frequency response for exceptionally clear and natural reproduction of both music and speech
- The bypass switch on the preamp deactivates it and uses the original signal from the SM7B
- EQ control for high-pass filter and midrange boost (presence boost)
- Superior protection against electromagnetic hum, optimal for shielding broadband interference caused by computer monitors
- Internal shock absorption through ‘air suspension’ virtually eliminates the transmission of contact noise
- Highly effective pop filter eliminates the need for additional protection against explosive breath sounds, even for close-range voices or voiceovers
