Description

Sennheiser MD 21-U Reporter Microphone

The Sennheiser MD 21-U is a professional dynamic broadcast microphone. Its omni-directional polar pattern makes the microphone suitable for both speech broadcasts (interviews, reporting, discussions, etc.) and music broadcasts. The microphone has a fairly linear frequency response with a slight peak in the high frequencies. This gives the microphone a full, dynamic, and clear sound. The MD 21-U not only has a beautiful sound, but also its appearance has been carefully considered: a stunning vintage look and a robust metal housing.

The MD 21-U has an extremely low sensitivity to handling noise, the unwanted noise that occurs when you move or handle a cable or microphone. Additionally, the microphone is designed to have virtually no issues with wind and plosive sounds. These characteristics make the MD 21-U ideal for your broadcast applications.
