Itel IdEnc Encoder for DAB and DAB+
ITELdEnc is a DAB and DAB+ audio encoder based on the last HW and SW technology. lt is available in option latest Fraunhofer broadcast audio codec. The flexibility of the platform allows the management of different audio sources (analog, digital, AES67, and IP stream)
The high-quality Fraunhofer coding library is available as an option. With IdEnc the broadcaster can directly manage the transmission of SLS and DLS containing text and images from its playout system.
The encoder is installed at the broadcaster headquarters and sends the already encoded stream to the remote multiplexer using the Tcp protocol, thus ensuring robustness and stability even on public transport networks.
The 6-band audio processor specific for DAB + applications is also available as an option, this processor allows you to take advantage of the entire audio band of over 20 KHz available and integrates the loudness control compliant with the ITU-R BS.1770 standard.
Audio encoding modes supported in DAB are: Mono, Joint Stereo, Audio encoding modes supported in DAB+ are Mono, mono+SBR, Stereo, Stereo+SBR, Stereo+SBR+PS
Connection with the mux is IP based and the encoder is fully remotable via webserver accessible from the two LAN interfaces and SNMP
DAB/DAB+ Encoder
ldEnc is installed between audio sources and ldMux multiplexer. Versatility of the products allow the possibility to receive inputs from different audio sou rees (stream, AES-EBU, AES67, analog).
The encoder manage the DL/DL+, DLS, Slide show also with data coming from streaming. Available as option 6 bands audio processor with Loudness Limiter ITU-R BS.1770, totallyweb controlled.
