Audio technica - Pro FM BroadcastWhen Hideo Matsushita was still working for the Bridgestone Museum of Arts in Tokyo, he was deeply impressed by the emotional impact that vinyl listening sessions had on visitors. He decided that he wanted to offer more people the opportunity to experience the warmth of analog audio. Therefore, he founded the company Audio-Technica in a small apartment in the Shinjuku district and began designing pickup elements. Thanks to the success of his first two products, the AT-1 and AT-3, Hideo was able to expand the company. He opened a larger headquarters in Machida, where Audio-Technica is still active today. Driven by this passion for audio, Audio-Technica then grew into a company that designs and produces widely acclaimed headphones, turntables, and microphones. At the same time, it remained a family business, focused on the same belief: making high-quality audio accessible to everyone. The passion for analog audio was also not abandoned by the company. After all, Audio-Technica still produces some of the most popular pickup elements in the world. Audio-Technica is firmly convinced that audio should sound as natural as possible and strives for the most authentic and accurate audio reproduction possible. At our company, every product starts with the vibration generated when a sound is captured or, in other words, with analog transducer technology. With this, we create products that transcend everyday sensory experience and enhance our sensitivity. We continue tirelessly to search for pure and natural audio. Audio-Technica headphones, turntables, and microphone systems are used around the world in a wide range of applications, from live concert tours and recording studios to theaters, educational facilities, and places of worship. There are also millions of music lovers, gamers, and content creators who use our products every day.
