Rebroadcast Receivers
Rebroadcast receivers, also known as relay transmitters or repeaters, are devices designed to receive radio signals from a primary station and rebroadcast them over a wider area. These receivers operate on different frequencies or channels from the primary station, effectively extending its reach without compromising signal quality.
These are often used in situations where radio coverage needs to be extended to areas that are difficult to reach or where the original signal is weak.
They enable broadcasters to increase the reach of their radio signals. Especially in areas that are geographically isolated, such as rural or mountainous areas, where the original signal may not be reached effectively.
They also help fill gaps in radio reception range caused by obstacles such as buildings, terrain or atmospheric conditions, so listeners over a larger area can have consistent reception.
